First up, these simple, light gold and clear stone bow studs. A great price for these gems. And at right, delicate enamel and gold tone studs in a fun green kelly color. A pretty good price for anything Kate Spade.
Max & Chloe – $45; Forever 21 – $1.50
Marcasite is a stone with yellow, grey, and brown tones, that looks crystal-ish under the light. It’s usually set in sterling silver, as these earrings from Max & Chloe are, and years ago it was all the rage. We’re starting to see the stone cycle back into popularity, and it certainly looks great in the studs at left–sort of a Medieval edge to an otherwise feminine look. But if you want girly all the way, the pink heart studs with black bows at right might be the ticket. Plus, at crazy-cheap Forever 21 prices, it’s hardly an investment.

The matte glitter bracelet on top almost doesn’t look like a bow–it’s sort of flattened out. But it has great texture, and that gunmetal tone is really modern. And in contrast, a sweet simple bracelet in red leather and gold tone hardware from BR.

One of our favorite things to do here on full clutch is to feature independent artists selling their wares on Etsy. This necklace from Dashery is a great spin on bow jewelry. If the delicate bows you’ve seen thus far are to fussy for your taste, this is a clean, modern take on the trend. It also features a unique chain of thin bars. Artist Lori is based out of Oklahoma and her shop features a ton of unique and high quality pieces.
